Carrie had me at Rock Quarry Farm and Coral Peonies! One of my favorite Chapel Hill wedding venues and hands down my favorite flower. Carrie had plans for a sophisticated, vintage wedding filled with details and color. I was excited to be a part of this wedding and even more excited when she asked me to do the flowers for her!
The Barn was packed with sweet vintage touches and the most beautiful, colorful flowers. The personal flowers were so fun to create, textured, unstructured bouquets with peonies, pin cushion proteas and flowing greenery. Cotton, hand picked by the bride’s brother was used for the boutonnieres, such a nice personal touch!
The threat of a tropical storm bought along some unwanted rain but Carrie and Zach had the best attitudes and had only one thing in mind; getting married! We had a short break in the rain which lent the perfect opportunity for their very intimate first look and some beautiful romantic shots! Even their sweet pups were able to join in the fun! The ceremony was moved inside the barn and served as a very cozy, intimate back drop. Cocktail hour followed with a beautiful plated dinner created by Donovan’s Dish and a lively dance party.
Thank you Carrie and Zach for choosing Kast Events , we were honored to be a apart of your beautiful day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
