Samantha and Sam’s wedding was incredibly special to our team as Samantah was one of our very own! Samantha joined our team as an intern in 2016 and worked with us for well over 2 years as an assistant planner. So, naturally we were over the moon when she asked us to plan and design their wedding! It was truly such an honor!

Sam and Sam ( 🙂 ) first met during their freshman year of high school. They went to rival high schools and met through mutual friends who were dating at the time. Samantha’s best friend refused to attend a dance at their rival high school without Samantha by her side. Samuel did not have a date yet, so Samantha was convinced to attend the dance with him. They dated for a few months and actually broke up briefly but found their way back to each other! They both attended UNC and after graduation they moved to Charleston as Sam had been accepted into the Navy’s nuclear program. After a romantic dinner in Charleston, Samuel convinced Sam to take a picture in front of rainbow row, a spot they frequented. He went Down on one knee and popped the question!

The couple drew inspiration for their wedding from the vibrant fall season in NC and their mutual love for Chapel Hill. An intimate, cozy day filled with friend and family were very important to the couple. They said their I do’s in the courtyard beside the white chapel and enjoyed a perfect intimate dinner by Rocky Top catering inside followed by an amazing dance party! What a true joy to be apart of this sweet couples most special day! We love you Sam and Sam!
