Cabell & Dave| Fall Fearrington Village Wedding

What an absolute joy to share with you Cabell and Dave’s intimate, fall wedding. They endured so very much to get to this day. With two reschedules due to COVID, we decided to rework plan A and came up with an amazing, intimate plan B. The design was packed with beautiful, meaningful details. I loved every second of working with Cabell and her sweet mama, it was a true collaboration and so much fun. They were, kind, appreciative and very supportive during this hard time. I honestly felt like I had gained two friends when the wedding day rolled around!

Cabell and Dave were wed on a gorgeous fall day at Fearrington Village surrounded by 40 of their closest friends and family. The ceremony took place at the Crab Apple site in the gardens on property. Lush greenery adorned the existing arbor and beautiful, fall floral installations lined the aisle. The original wedding design was very similar but consisted of a neutral color palette of whites, light blues and greenery. I was so excited to add a little touch of fall hues to the new plan, it added warmth and made the entire design feel more seasonally appropriate.

The ceremony was followed by an alfresco cocktail hour on the garden terrace patio and pavilion. It was such a special, cozy dinner with lots of good food, wine and laughter! John Brown Jazz entertained guests throughout the dinner with sweet jazz tunes. These two and their families were in such good company and surrounded by so much love! Thank you Cabell, Mary and Dave for allowing us to be a part of this amazing day! It was a joy and such an honor!
