I was absolutely over the moon excited when Erin and Evan hired me to plan their wedding celebration at their home in Chapel Hill! There is nothing I love  more than planning a private residence wedding! The couple’s home is nestled under mature walnut trees with lush lawns and a gorgeous pond! As the plans for their wedding began we started with the idea of a laid back open air affair with natural touches, bluegrass and BBQ.  Erin and Evan’s love for the outdoors and travel set the perfect stage for the use of lush greenery as centerpieces, textured linens, and vintage postcards for guests to leave the couple well wishes.They were to be wed in a field across the road from their home and guests were set to make their way to the reception in a New Orleans style parade- a little rain made for a quick change in plans but no rain could damper the beauty of this wedding and the couples love for each other!
