I was beyond excited when Lizzy and Garret asked me to be a part of the planning for their wedding at The Haw River Ballroom! Its such a unique venue in a gorgeous, natural setting. The tree covered village of Saxapahaw is a hidden gem just west of Chapel Hill and even has a river running through it- it’s just so serene and beautiful!

Lizzy had such a perfect vision for their wedding. She selected the most gorgeous dress and combined it with bright flower crowns, colorful blooms and unique,  bridesmaids dresses. The groom and groomsmen all wore different, textured ties to brighten their navy suites. The Ballroom was dressed up with gold sequence runners and happy, colorful summer flowers by the talented Heather from Eclectic Sage. A custom gold backdrop  brightened the room and served as the perfect backdrop for the couples ceremony. Lizzy and Garret opted for a tiered brownie cake instead of a traditional wedding cake.- oh so fun! All these details were so perfectly captured by AJ Dunlap Photography! Every planners dream!

The best part of the day was the true love and perfect moments shared between Lizzy and Garrett. Their love shined so bright and beyond all the details and beauty this was what was truly important to them.
